The Parallel Napa Valley label captures the essence of the lines carved by skis on the first run of the day. The Founding Partners wanted their 40+ years of friendship and life in Park City to be reflected in the wine. The label has served to reflect the 25 years of friendship, planting, tending, harvesting and making wines with famed winemaker, Philippe Melka, and his Atelier Melka Team, from the parallel rows of vines floating across hillside vineyards in Napa Valley and the Sonoma Valley.
We are thrilled to release our inaugural Rutherford Rose to coincide with our 25th Anniversary this year!
This stunning Provencal-style Rose, crafted with 100% Single Vineyard Grenache, is currently the ONLY Napa Valley Rose being produced by our Principal Winemaker, Philippe Melka, and the Atelier Melka Winemaking Team.

"This exquisite Burgundian-style 2022 Chardonnay was whole cluster pressed and fermented in French oak barrels for 16 months sur lie with no malolactic fermentation. It has lively aromas of lemon and orange blossom that jump from the glass complemented by light tropical notes and a touch of sweet French barrel oak. Bright acid, great minerality and richness on the palate give way to a hint of lemon curd on the finish."

"The 2021 vintage was a classic growing season with a bit lighter crop than usual, which brought great concentration to the wines. This wine is dark in color and has a super expressive nose of spices like cardamon, wild sage and allspice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with great tetxure, well-rounded tannins and a hint of sweetness from the French Oak. Layers of ripe plums, black cherry, cassis and dark chocolate come to mind. The wine has a great, long finish carried by the acidity and fruit concentration. It is already very enjoyable and will evolve beautifully over the next 10+ years."

"The flagship from this estate is the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Diamond Reserve Napa Valley Monument, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that’s still resting in 80% new oak. Its saturated purple hue is followed by a ripe, sexy, full-bodied beauty with lots of cassis and currant fruit as well as ample spice and floral notes, terrific mid-palate density, velvety tannins, and outstanding length."

In order to ensure the best experience with our wines, please store them in a cool, dark, dry place; Cabernets ideally at 55-60F and Chardonnays at 40-50F. When opening, these wines may require decanting, especially if they are vintages 2003-2011. Please allow 30-120 minutes of decanting before enoying (the older the wine the longer it may take).
